American politics is beholden to private money - ergo it is not a democracy. Politicians work not for the electorate, but for BigBiz - and in this specific case, for whichever lobby pays the most, ie the Israeli lobbies.

Mainstream Democrats have all but assured the 'End Of American Democracy' as they call it with their unflagging support of ethnic cleansing in Gaza, which is not a war but rather an apartheid state police action. If Republicans decide to engage in similar conduct once Democrats giftwrap the Executive Branch and hand it to the GOP, I advise all of you to make sure that the mainstream Democrats wind up in their camps, not the rest of us, as is their plan. @palestine@israel@DrALJONES
